Koh Yamasan
This is one of the central and closest islands in the group and one more suited to novices and snorkellers. Unfortunately the 2004 tsunami destroyed a lot of the shallow plate and staghorn coral and huge boulder corals can be seen upturned in the sand, the reef has been decimated on the shore side of the island but there is still an abundance of fish and smaller reef critters. The ocean side has escaped the backwash and the coral is in better condition.

Koh See
Koh See or Island four is a little closer to the shore, just behind the biggest island in the chain, Koh Poda. There are some nice plate and staghorn formations because it was a little more sheltered from the tsunami. It has a good fringing reef and abundant with butterfly and angel fish.

Depth: 5 - 14m
Viz: 5 - 15m

Koh Haa

Koh Haa meaning island five in Thai is the fifth in a small group of islands just about an hour by boat from the Krabi coastline. It is the furthest out of these closer to shore islands offering the best coral formations. Tsunami damage can be observed to more delicate staghorn coral at shallower depths but go deeper than 10 meters and its all untouched. Good formations, walls and overhangs with abundant fish life here.
