Although Koh Lanta is still in Krabi province it is far enough away to have its own section. Some of the best dive sites in Thailand can be reached from Lanta. With something for everyone from the outer rocks and islands for the experienced diver to calm gentle fringing reefs for the avid snorkeller. The island also offers pristine white sand beaches, lush tropical rainforrests and cascading waterfalls.

Koh Lanta is a beautiful island that has managed to maintain it’s special atmosphere despite the fact that many people have found their way here the during the last few years. This is still a place where you can relax and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere, the cheap and very good food and the fantastic beaches. What you do not get is the commercialism which many tourist traps all over the world mistakenly seem to think is what the average person on holiday really requires.

Of course, for those of you who want discotheques, girlie bars and Mac Donalds Koh Lanta is not the right place!. Here we just enjoy the peace and tranquility. Take an early morning walk, a tour in the jungle or obviously a dive trip during the day.
