Hin Luk Bat
A small group of rocks which penetrate the surface disguise the wonderful range of soft and hard corals which live underneath. The site is excellent for Barracuda, Yellow Tail and Chevron. There is the remnants of an old fishing boat which is home to Moray Eels, Clown Fish and Damsel Fish.

Koh Chang Dive Sites Hin Luk Bat

Hin Rap
This is a boulder dive site where you will encounter whip corals and feather stars. Look out for a huge number of Nudibranches and Moray Eels. Once you swim around 200 metres away from the site you will find what is locally call the Blue Mountains. This is a large ridge of rocks which give a beautiful bluey/white glow due to the sun penetration. Depths again 5-15 metres (visibility 5-20 metres).

Koh Chang Dive Sites Hin Rap

Koh Rang
A little further south of Hin Rap you'll find Koh Rang. A small island with a number of possible dive sites dotted around. Most sites have an abundance of schooling fish, Butterfly Fish, Damsel Fish and Clown Fish. Depths are 5-15 metres (visibility 5-20 metres). If you venture on to the sand here you are likely to see large Hermit Crabs and a variety of Marine Critters.

Koh Rang Pinnacle
An arrangement of boulders to the side of Koh Rang is popular with Batfish, Puffer Fish and Moray Eels. Some interesting swimthroughs can be found with a little effort. Depths again 5-15 metres (visibility 5-20 metres).

The Thonburi Wreck
The Thonburi is a Thai warship that was sunk by the French over a colonial dispute in the 1940's. The wreck is quite close to the shore and in shallow water, currents can be strong and the visibility is usually poor. Best time to dive is at low and slack tides when the water is calm, usually better to arrange the dive with local fishermen who know the waters.

Koh Kra
Koh Kra is a small rocky islet with shallow fringing reef teeming with life. An ideal site for snorkellers and freedivers as depths here don't exceed 10 metres. Shallow coral gardens gently slope down to a sandy bottom that is often home to rays.

Koh Mai See Lek ( Si Lek)
Hard corals proliferate here, plentiful plate and brain coral with an abundance of sponges. A popular site for invertebrates including crabs, nudibranchs and shrips. Often gets larger pelagic visitors such as jacks and trevally.

Koh Chang Dive Sites Koh mai Si Lek

Koh Wai
Fringing reef off the island dropping down to 20 metres. Plentiful hard corals such as brain and plate with the softer corals proliferating at depth. Rays can often be spotted on the sandy bottom.
